movie review of Taare Zameen Par

I saw Tare zamin pe on last Sunday and believe me it is just awesome. I would like to congratulate Amir for choosing such a lovely subject for his film. It is a real daring for someone like Amir to start his directorial career with this subject. It could have destroyed his career but he didn’t care. It could have made it bankrupt but he didn’t care. It could have thrown him in frustration, but he didn’t care. He believed on the story. He believed on himself and he proved that.

A fine documentary could have been made over this subject. But Amir converted it into commercial movie. I don’t think any traditional audience could have gone to watch a movie over this subject. This movie got all initial response because of Amir but the surprising thing is that the movie is not at all focused on him. His character is introduced just before interval and even after that whole move roams around ‘Eshan’-lead character of the movie. As usual, A.R. Rehman’ had enriched the movie with his fantastic songs. Even Rehaman never tried to establish himself through his music. Music and songs are perfectly suitable to movie. One must admire Rehman for this music because it was a really tough job to give meaningful music to songs in this music (remind words of songs).

Darshil Safary- who had played lead role in the movie is simply amazing. It never seems that the boy is acting. He actually lived the character of ‘Eshan’. His thinking, naughtiness, simplicity and innocence put audience in love with him. His expression has capability to make audiences cry. Amir Khan has played his role well (no surprise) but it was expected from him. Every character has given perfect ‘character-sketch’ so that each character sounds very natural in the film. Technically it is very sound movie. (amir ki film hai bhai!) Camera work and lightings are really admirable during song ‘e maa’ and during sequence of drawing competition.

Beyond being a excellent film, it touches our heart so deeply. We get involved in this movie than any other. When I tried to find its reason, I came to know that everyone of us has seen a dream. We wanted to be a sportsman, painter, dancer or even musician. But actually we turn into engineers, doctors and CAs. The movie reminds us our hidden dream which we have buried somewhere deep inside. The film is aan inspiration for people like us who are chasing their dreams. It makes us cry and pulls out our forgiven dreams and also strength to for their accomplishment.

their souls are waiting for justice

Recently a session court gave justice to Manjunath, who sacrificed his life in a war against corruption. Court ordered to hang Monu Mittal till death. We can consider it as a first victory in this war. But it is not enough at all. Even this is not the only case in this war. ‘Sattyendra Dube’ and “Chandrashekhar Prasad’ were also killed in same situation. These to great personalities also fought the same war against corruption, against the system without taking care of their own life and their souls are still waiting for justice.

Chandrashekhar Prasad was killed by people from group of ‘Don Shahabuddin’ in front of lots of shameless people on 31st March 19997. Now, Shahabuddin is an ‘honorary parliament member’ and nobody is ready to speak even a single word against him. Sattyendra Dube wrote a letter to P.M. against corruption in contracts of roads. Murderer of Sattyendra Dube was arrested previously but he ran away from the court and he has not arrested yet all these personalities were well qualified. Sattyendar and Chandrashekhar were from I.I.T. and Manjunath was from I.I.M. if they would have wished, multinational companies were ready to higher them for much more salary. But they decided to work for their nation. They decided to improve condition of India and citizens of India. They died for us.

If media will neglect this issue, we will raise it through Internet. we will forward this mail. They sacrificed their life for us and now it is our responsibility to give them justice.

However they won’t get justice only if we would have arrested their killers and hang them till death. If we want to give them fair justice, then we should be provoked. We should be inspired through their vital examples. We should forward a step to fight against corruption and this system. If we would have been able to do this and if our little contribution would have helped a little bit to improve this corrupt system, then and then only, it will be a real salute to these great personalities and their souls will rest in peace forever.
